Swag to get from Google

To continue on with this future purchasing blogging, I plan to buy some Google swag (each word a link, yada, yada). Here is to hoping they have intern discounts.

Here is something to ponder next time someone tells you they meant to do something but didn't have the time (and this is not directly targeted towards anyone): what the meant to say was you were of low enough priority that you got bumped off the daily itinerary and thus didn't get to you. So yes, they didn't have the time, but it was because they made other things more important.

This is partially why I get really irked when someone doesn't return my phone calls. They say they didn't have time, but then I find out that they watched television the other day. So some random television show is more important than calling me back? Gee, thanks.

I do realize that for some things you have prerequisites in order to perform them, such as having enough free time. And I do realize that people are not always up for doing stuff because of physical or mental exhaustion. But please don't try to fool people into thinking they are more important than they really are to you by saying you meant to do something but were tied up with rather petty things.
