After going to campus and doing work on my next lab, I came home with nothing to do (as in I had homework to do that I didn't feel like doing and thus couldn't justify doing something fun that I knew would take hours since I should be doing homework instead). So, as I have been doing when I have been able to sleep, I began cleaning up for moving. This time I cleaned up my records.
I had a Rubbermaid bin full of paperwork from high school on. Awards, transcripts, applications, financial aide; any paperwork regarding school. I knew I needed to clean that sucker out, so I dragged it into the living room, sat down, and plowed through it all. Now it is all organized in a plastic file case (with a handle for easy moving), sorted by records at my various schools and then by year for financial stuff.
This required a trip to Staples. Beyond the new filing case I bought a replacement accordian folder that was more rigid to replace the flimsy one I have been using to hold this year's bills and overly important docs (such as my passport). Turned out the checkout lady remembered me because of my smile! Now that is a first. This is the same one who was borderline flirty with me last time I was in who unfortunately too old and wears too much eye liner.
Anyway, I have now managed to replace a Rubbermaid bin with a filing case and four plastic bags of trash.

Thank you, Brett. Now me and a good number of folks know where your passport is. :O Now's a good time to change the location of it *wink wink*
