I discovered that their is a CafePress.com shop for python.org . That means there are more t-shirts I want (as always, each of those linked words is a different t-shirt). And the mousepad would be cool to have as well.
My mother asked why this sudden desire for t-shirts when I recently went through and purged my closet of them. The reason is that the purge was of junky t-shirts that I wouldn't want to be caught in public in (unless they held sentimental value like my PyCon t-shirts). I have no problem with t-shirts that make some form of statement and are good colors on me. Basically, as long as the t-shirt could work with a nice smoking jacket and jeans it is welcome in my closet.
Plus t-shirts have just been what I have been running into lately. I have not been explicitly seeking out t-shirts to buy. I keep stumbling across these online shops. If I were coming across nice button-downs I would be posting links to those instead.
And all of this has led me to an idea. I think I am going to have a clothes voting section to my site. It helps getting input on clothes from other people so as to not get too bogged down in a look that I like. It also helps to get the opinion of people of the fairer sex until I have a girlfriend to dictate the look she would prefer me in. And so I think I will start to put all of these pieces of clothing on a page on the site with a voting system that tallies up votes from 1 to 5 and keeps a running average. That way I can get distributed input on stuff that would look good on me.
