FriendFeed has filled a gap in my web site

My mythical web site was going to contain a page that held all of the various feeds generated by content from me. This would include Jaiku, Picasa Web Albums, my blogs, etc. Originally I had added the feeds to Jaiku, but I really didn't like that as I wanted Jaiku to be just my Jaiku updates and not my Google Reader shared items, etc.

Along comes FriendFeed. All it does is aggregate the exact stuff I was going to list on my web site. And like so many other things on the Net these days, it has the concept of friends and thus aggregates what your friends put up online. It supports a rather large list of online services. My public feed is here and also now in the sidebar of my blog.

This means that Jaiku is clean and contains just my status updates. FriendFeed contains all of the various things that I toss online, ranging from blog posts to status updates on Google Talk. It could be viewed as a stream of consciousness as well as a window into what the hell I am doing online.
