Yes, that is the view from my room; what the dirt that will eventually become parking, and a building that is kind of empty. Didn't exactly end up on the actual tower (building 1). Instead, I am in building 2, which is a wing of the tower.
Floors 4 and 5 of building 2 house the grad students. Keep running into people at orientation who live in the building as well. For some odd reason, though, they all seem to live on the fifth floor.
A fourth roommate has moved in. So we lost our guest bedroom. =) Oh well, the guy seems nice.
The boat cruise last night was fun. Talked with some people, had a Corona at an inflated price, sat on the deck and saw the view (went around the entire peninsula) which was great.
