I am so sore and it is not about to get any better

After my workout Wednesday the muscles that straddle my spinal cord were sore from the stiff-leg lifts. Knowing that my back could stand strengthening I was not shocked and was just happy I didn't pull any muscles. Yesterday I had some general soreness and just wanted a massage (getting one Tuesday). Today my back is not bothering, but the muscles on my forearms where they connect to my elbow are killing me. And of course my workout today is almost entirely focused on my arms.

And to top it off I am slightly sunburned. The annual Google Picnic was yesterday and I was outside for 2.5 hours. Luckily they were giving out Google visors so my face is fine. And also luckily I still have hair on my head. =)

But the picnic was fun. Tons of food, drink, and random carnival-type stuff to do (ferris wheel, slides, bands, games, etc.).

Also finally got to hear Alex Martelli's talk on the "black magic" of Python (descriptors, decorators, and metaclasses). I feel more comfortable with descriptors now, decorators I was always happy with (heck, I was the person who came up with the evaluation order), and metaclasses are still about the same. Glad I went.
