Gizmo Project seems to be good enough

I called both of my parents on my free $0.25 that you get for outgoing calls to landlines through the Gizmo Project. Worked well enough for both of them that they would rather have me call using it than my cell phone while I am in my apartment. Makes me wonder what it sounds like if I call someone directly. Currently only two friends have SIP phone accounts. Obviously it would be cool if more people had it, but everyone seems to have gone with Skype or just don't want to bother with having another program running.

Personally, I suspect I will keep Gizmo closed. I will most likely launch it only when I am expecting to make or receive a call. But all that is easy thanks to either cell phone calls or IMs.
