Both AI and parallel algorithms look like they will be fine. Parallel algorithms especially seems like it will be fun. Both are project-based so no bloody tests this term!
Also found out what I am going to need to do to make up that small part of my grade so that the course counts. I have to do the final again as a take-home and then discuss what I don't understand. I also have to write a small paper on some topic in algorithms. So nothing severe in any way. Just glad I am getting this chance to fix this problem.

My first c# class was interesting too. I am actually quite impressed by the framework itself. of course, it would be nice if they could add more support to the Mono project. Have you check out IronPython? it's interesting .NET version of Python. I am still trying to find a bridge between Sun Java and C# though, but my initial impression of c# is good.
wait explain why you have to do the final again?? i'm confused!
