Guess someone forgot to tell their senators that fact. Looks like a Republican senator from Oregon is trying to pass legislation dictating that if a digital broadcast uses the broadcast flag that you cannot do anything with that content that is not explicitly specified.

In other words, if you come up with a novel use of something that is not explicitly allowed or disallowed by the flag, you still can't do it. Fuckers. Why don't we just stop inventing. Maybe that will make people like the MPAA and RIAA happy.
