The test results for strep and mono both came back negative. My white count was up so I do/did have/had an infection. They also tested some other enzyme but that was fine. Anyway, the penicillin seems to be doing its magic and I feel much better. At this point I just have violent sneezes (I can tell my throat is still recovering since the sneezes hurt so much), it hurts to yawn (jaw still recovering from the swelling), and I have to blow my nose on occasion. But luckiliy last night my nose cleared up suddenly.
There will be an interesting photo of me once I am well, though. I have taken to not shaving until I am over this. Having already not shaved a couple of days leading up to this I actually have enough facial hair for it to show up under all lighting conditions. =)
