Reader
Just a quick update on my impressions of Google Reader.  So far, so good.  I was wondering how they were going to handle updates to sites (whether I would have to manually cause an update, etc.), but it turns out that it opens to a view that lists all new items.  And it is very fast, so I suspect they just refresh all feeds at a set interval and just update the view for everyone who uses that view.  That would save a lot of processing time.
Everything is stuff that just need some polishing.  For instance, when viewing the feed list it can take a little while for the list to show up, leading to clicking on the wrong thing.  Otherwise maybe a way to force a specific sort?  Basically I am happy so far.  We will see if this leads to a permanent move or not.
The last major thing that has been a problem are my friends that use Xanga.  I hate all three of you (Bryan, Gabe, and Debbie)!  They *still* don't have a valid RSS feed!  I have to go through someone else's site to get a valid feed.  It is not that hard to get right.  What moron's run Xanga?!?  Bah!
