PS3 games I want to play

When I said I was buying a PS3 a bunch of people poo-poo'ed the idea saying no good games were going to be out for a while. Well, that it's been a while!

At this point there are games I want to rent, play more of, or want to find out more about.

The games I want to rent are Stranglehold and Heavenly Sword. Both are so short that they don't require a purchase. But both have gotten good reviews and the demos were fun.

Games that I want to play more of (which could mean to just plain play) are SEGA Rally Revo, Half-Life 2: Orange Box, Warhawk, and Eye of Judgment. All of these games are either out or close to being released.

SEGA Rally Revo is the only one I have played a demo of and it's nicely done. I really miss Sega racing games. My brother and I played Daytona USA on my Saturn for hours on end trying to beat our best times. And amazingly enough we didn't fight over it. =)

Warhawk is out, but no demo is available. But the thing has been getting amazing reviews. I might pick it up once the retail box without the Bluetooth headset comes out.

Eye of Judgment reminds me of the days when I played Magic: The Gathering in high school is Bryan and Steve. I actually kind of miss it as it was fun to spend the time research cards, developing a deck, and then playing someone.

And Half-Life 2: Orange Box I will buy, period. To get to play HL2 is enough since the original HL was amazing game. But considering it has Team Fortress 2 as well just seals the deal.

The games I am interested in learning more about are Uncharted, Gran Turismo Prologue, Call of Duty 4, Haze, Killzone 2, LittleBigPlanet, Metal Gear Online, Metal Gear Solid 4, Ratchet & Clank Future, and Soul Calibur 4. All of these games have not been released yet. All of them have videos online that have caught my attention. Uncharted especially have grabbed my eye as of late (like the latest videos). Looks like Tomb Raider done right.

Anyway, here is to hoping more people I know get online with their PS3 so I can play multiplayer with them!
