For some reason I find business cards fascinating. They are (typically) this little piece of paper that is supposed to help someone remember who you are, why they should care about you, and how to get a hold of you. That's a lot to do for such a small thing!
Which is why people get creative. How about a piece of electrical cord as found at Mike Davidson's site that inspired this post? There are also some cool ones from SXSW.
Just makes me want to update my business card that much more. While I like mine (simple while having the hook of having my old contact info encoded in colour), I feel like it needs an update. I have definitely learned my lesson to not put my contact info beyond my email address as my other contact info fluctuates too much. =) Although I could probably stand to toss up a web page with a fairly permanent address that contains the contact info that my business card would hold such as my phone number (having your number online is not a huge deal; I did it once by accident through my old resume and I only got a single call from that fact).
