Any of my long-time readers should know that I love news feeds from site (typically called RSS or atom feeds). They allow you to take in more information within the same amount of time. Plus you no longer have to wonder if you missed your friends blog post since you always find out when they have updated (unless there name is Channing Wong and they like to constantly change their blogging software).
Anyway, my news feed reader, Google Reader, has a sharing feature. When you mark a feed entry for sharing it makes its available on a sharing page. You can also add what they call a "clip" to your web site that puts a little box listing your shared items.
I am going to give the shared feeds thing a try. Initially it will be mixed between stuff people here would be interested and what people on my Python blog would like. If people actually the feature, please let me know.

Cool, I am glad to find another shared feed to subscribe to. Mine is http://www.google.com/reader/shared/05131063821495069510 .
Your shared items feed needs an RSS feed for those of us that don't use google reader. ;)
There is a feed if you just go to the shared items page (link at the bottom of the clip). But the direct address to the feed is http://www.google.com/reader/public/atom/user/17365008442999130995/state/com.google/broadcast .
