This NY Times article talks about how the Senate is not giving in to what Bush wants in terms of abilities to get information from terrorists.
There is an interesting quote in that article where Bush says the top priority of the U.S. government is to protect the homeland. He just neglects to point out that needs to be done in a moral way.
