Stuff on a wedding registry are expensive

My friend Alex and I went downtown to buy bedding. We ended up commenting on how expensive some basic things are. Bedding, cookware, etc., tend not to be cheap. The stuff that you tend to upgrade when you get a real job end up eating that new disposable income you have. And it tends to be the stuff you list in your wedding registry which I thought was an interesting correlation.
