The holiday parties are finished

Yesterday I went with Meesh to the holiday party for her department. It was held at a botanical garden. Met some people and then subsequently went to the garden where they had strewn X-mas lights all over. With the carollers in the background it reminded my of Disneyland. Some of it was pretty, though. Unfortunately it was very cold and I did not dress for being outside for extended periods. Ended up not being able to feel my face.

Today was my lab's holiday party. After having a meeting with my supervisor (may have a topic; need to do some provisional coding on it to test the feasibility) we had the party. There was some issue with the promised pizza thanks to some bad communication. I stepped up and sponsored the party on behalf of Google. Turned out rather well.
