What a crap day

Morning started out fine. But then my algorithms professor told us that our midterm and homework was in our mailboxes. So after class I went to my box to get my homework. Not only was my homework assignment ten points lower than anyone else's, but I got a 49/80 on my midterm (that is barely a C; here they use percentages for everything and they are different when converted to letter grades compared to the states). That is not really acceptable on a grad course test. If the professor had not told the class that we should not worry about our grades and that I didn't have the lowest score of anyone I know I would be flipping out right about now.

And then dance class happened. I cannot do the jive to save my life. I kept fucking it up horribly. Luckily I could do the basic waltz steps we were doing at the end of class.

And then I came home and turned on my computer. My bluetooth is not working on my laptop. A book feel and struck my laptop last night and I am willing to bet it either knocked loose or damaged the bluetooth module inside the case. Unfortunately I don't think I can get access to it to try to re-seat it. That means AppleCare, which means losing my laptop for a few days. That ain't going to happen while I am still in class. So it looks like a trip to the Apple Store in Washington or mailing my laptop in as soon as class is over so as to get it repaired.

And now I find out that the weather is going to have a high of degrees with a low of 3 degrees Friday and Saturday (44 degrees and 37 degrees, respectively, in Fahrenheit). Luckily I am getting longjohns this weekend.

Here is to hoping that the rest of my day (working on my homework, going to VanPyz, seeing Meesh) go much better.
