Program named iSkoot sets up a conference call using Skype between your cell phone and anyone who connects using VoIP to your computer. Uses SkypeOut to make the call out over a POTS (Plain Old Telephone System) line. Kind of what I was after with my VoIP/Asterisk dream setup, but with foreigners connecting over Skype and me having a VoIP number local to me. Kind of defeats the purpose.
Still think it would be a cool project to be able to get VoIP calls to a US number forwarded to my Canadian cell phone somehow in a cheap manner.
I also need to find out if there is a way to forward calls to my cell phone over Bluetooth in case my headset's batteries dies on me. That way my only downtime is switching over where the calls get sent instead of having to wait from my headset to charge.
