Workout a1

I started my workout today; I'm sore. =) I am using "The Muscle Poster for Every Man" from "Men's Health" Magazine from November 2000. They classify people into over 40, overweight, underweight (me!), and overworked. I had my brother (has a bachelors in exercise science) check it out and he said it looks good.

The workout is broken up into three parts which you do over the span of the week. It is supposed to be done for eight weeks. I did Workout A today (hence the title of this entry; workout and week number).

I am going to record the weight that I do for each exercise here so I can keep track easily. For this workout you do 10 reps and then eight reps to warm up. You then do six, four, and two reps using the heaviest weight load you can handle.

Here are my initial results:

Squat: N/A (would need a spotter; did leg lifts instead)
Bench Press: 50, 50, 50
Stiff-Legged Deadlift: 20, 20, 20
One-Arm Row: 50/45, 35, 25

The One-Arm Row has the dual entry since I dropped the weight after I did my right arm since I didn't totally pull off the last rep or two at that weight. Weights for ones that use a bar do not include the bar weight.
