Things I am doing to help with my RSI

So this is the keyboard I am thinking strongly of buying. Various Googlers have them back when they were being offered by the company. It seems as long as you are willing to stick out the learning curve (about a week), they are great. They help with RSI by letting you rest your hands in a stationary position while typing with minimal finger movement. Problem is that they cost $300.

Also made an appointment to see the on-site doctor. Hopefully I can find out other stuff I can do to keep this under control.

And I am not an isolated case. I know at least one other guy who has gotten RSI since starting at Google. I think this has come about thanks to never having typed for 8 hours in a day before. While in school I took constant breaks and never coded for extreme periods thanks to my ability to plan my time. Hopefully starting school again at UBC will give me time to get my wrist into a good shape and to prevent this from happening the next time I take a coding job.

I'm sure it's just the way the photo was taken, with the keyboard at a ~30 degree angle, but it makes the image appear to be tilted to the right. WIERDNESS!!

Something abotu it makes it look like it should be attatched to a sega saturn.
