Conspiracy theory!

So, the Japanese government is planning for war. How can someone who is paranoid think this? Well, first they have started to push for bases outside of Japan and a build-up of their army. Just look at their involvement in Iraq.

Second, look at how they have gotten pushy with North Korea and Russia. The former they don't like their nuclear program and the latter they want an island from them that they claim is theirs.

Lastly, Japan recently announced a new national push for lowering the dependency on foreign energy. A war for Japan would most likely cut into their power supply (from oil, coal, gas, etc.) and that could be crippling. But if they manage to lower their dependency it won't be so horrible for them if they did go to war.
