Cold Weather and Flip-Flops != Smart

Can some girl explain this to me? Why do girls seem to feel the need, even after putting on pants, and a long sleeve shirt and a jacket, think it is smart to wear flip-flops in cold weather? If you are going to the trouble to dress warmly, why neglect your feet?

It isn't like they are making a foot fashion statement. Flip-flops are not attractive footwear unless you have a foot fetish (and I doubt most women think most men have the fetish).

So is it because of comfort? But does that make sense, though, since their feet will be cold and flip-flops don't exactly have a ton of padding? I think this is an instance of where I manage to think more about a topic than the people actually under discussion.

Thesis download update: 965. 965! I might break 1,000 downloads by the end of the day. This is amazing. I never expected that many people to care about the topic. Now I am just waiting for someone to want to argue over my findings or implementation.

It's much simpler than you think, Brett.

Laziness.

It takes a few seconds to put on a pair of flip-flops, and it leaves one pair of socks free from the being tossed into the ever-growing laundry hamper.

That 'n they cost about $4 when on sale, come in every color/style, to make them go with any outfit imaginable. :)

i think brett means cold weather as in snowing... and as to why chicks would do that to their feet, i don't know. the only ones that i've seen wearing flip-flops in the snow are white chickies from minnesota. you'd have to ask them :|

No, I meant just plain cold weather, as in low 60s weather (which is frigid to people in California who tend to have 80 degree weather during the summer).
